ASUS Scored High on Reliability & Satisfaction as Reviewed by PCWorld

A recent survey done by PCWorld rated individual brands across different product categories ranging from Desktop PCs to Tablets.We were honoured to score overall above average results for our Desktop PCs, Laptops and Tablets. Read on for a brief extract from the report.

ASUS Desktop PCs – Top Notch Reliability & Features

"The happiest desktop PC users in our survey worked with machines from Apple or Asus." (PCWorld, Dec 2011)

ASUS tops the reliability scale among windows-based PCs, being one of the two brands to get a better-than-average score for “overall satisfaction with reliability”.

“Asus won approval for its relatively low proportion of machines with failed components and for overall reliability….”

Other than reliability, respondents were also greatly satisfied with their ASUS Desktop PCs rating better-than-average scores for design, performance for price and more.

“I bought it [an Asus PC] for the low price, and it has never felt like I had to compromise speed and reliability.–Asus desktop PC owner

ASUS Laptops – Features filled with Good Reliability

"Asus deserves an honorable mention here for a low proportion of significant problems and better-than-average overall owner satisfaction with reliability. " (PCWorld, Dec 2011)

ASUS laptops emerged the second in terms of satisfactory features, along with Sony, scoring better-than-average in terms of operating noise, performance for price, design and more.

“Three other manufacturers scored especially well on features: Asus and Sony, with five better-than-average showings each; and Toshiba, with three. “

Having been known for its reliability, ASUS laptops were among the top 3, scoring better-than-average in terms of having few significant problems and overall satisfaction with reliability.

 ASUS Tablets -Second in Features

Late to the business, ASUS managed a feat by garnering second position in terms of features, coming right after Apple.

“The best of the also-rans on our features markers were Asus (with two better-than-average ratings, including an Apple-matching mark for “warranty”…”

ASUS’s tablets also managed to score better than most of the other non-iOS tablets in terms of reliability and ease of use.

“When the tablet family whose market share exceeds 50 percent receives better-than-average marks on all four reliability measures, the best the other tablet makers can hope for is to break even. Asus, Motorola, and Toshiba managed that feat, each garnering four marks of average in a field where no other tablet maker could equal Apple on any criterion. “
